James Thanasules was with First American Title Insurance Company for 19 years, most recently as Vice President and Senior Underwriting Counsel for the New York Agency Division. James began his title career from the ground up, involved in production, sales, claims and underwriting, both on the Direct and Agency sides. James’ extensive Agency experience offers a unique perspective. He understands the interplay between agent and underwriter; the need for responsiveness and sound decisions; and working together to achieve a common goal. James has presented CLEs and CEs on a wide variety of hot topics, including Claims, Short Sales and Reverse Mortgages. He also provides training courses for agents and the NYSLTA. James’ background includes private practice, finance and advertising.

FNTA is comprised of seasoned underwriters, account executives, communications and support teams who serve major commercial real estate developers, landlords and institutional investors both domestically and globally.

Michael Bebon is Senior Executive Vice President AmTrust Title Insurance Company and is the Chief Executive of Team Bebon. Throughout his 35 year career, Michael has been a leader in the industry. He has insured over $600 billion dollars of real estate transactions, including, but not limited to office, ground-up condo developments, gaming, hotels/resorts, multi-family, retail, energy, industrial, and international transactions in Canada, Caribbean, South America, and Europe. Michael has never failed on closing a transaction despite having seen every possible challenge and being able to find a solution.
