With Respect and Gratitude, Thank You to our Veterans

Veterans Day serves as a special reminder to show appreciation for the past and present members of the military. AmTrust would like to take a moment to express our gratitude to our employees who have served in the armed forces for the sacrifices you’ve made to protect our country and our freedom.

Celebrated every year on November 11, Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day and was meant to honor those who served in World War I, which ended on at the 11th hour on November 11, 1918. In the 1940s, it became amended to honor all those who served in the nation's military, and in 1954 President Eisenhower officially changed the name to Veterans Day.

Today, there are more than 16 million veterans who have served in at least one war. These are grandparents, parents, children, friends and neighbors who all helped protect our country's freedom and make it a better place to live.

Please take a moment to watch the video below featuring one of our AmTrust employees to learn why Veterans Day is so meaningful to her.

Today, and every day, we are grateful for your service. Happy Veterans Day!
